Our floating support service can help if you are at risk of being homeless or if you need support to help with life's challenges.

Floating support is available to tenants and home owners in Bournemouth who have tenancy-related needs. We can help you with things like maintaining your tenancy, developing domestic skills and life skills, and managing finances, such as benefits and debt. We can also help you access advice, advocacy and signposting to other agencies or services, as well as social activities. We'll also help to monitor your health and wellbeing.

Floating support means you receive visits at home, or at another agreed venue, by an allocated keyworker. After we have assessed your needs, we develop a support plan with you which includes a list agreed targets.

To join the service you must be aged 18 or over, living in Bournemouth and have support needs relating to your tenancy. You need to be living in independent and unsupported accommodation and be willing to receive support and engage with the service.

We offer a range of schemes.

Generic - For all households.
Children and Families - For households having at least one child aged 17 or under.
Drug and alcohol - For clients with addiction issues.
Drug and alcohol aftercare - For clients leaving addiction treatment.
Mental health - For clients with a diagnosed mental health issue.

To access the service either ask another agency to refer you or contact us directly by calling 01202 410500, 01202 410570 or 01202 410581. Or email floatingsupport@bcha.org.uk
