BCHA’s ignite programme is a new initiative, which aims to help unemployed people develop the motivation and skills they need to live more independently.
Being out of work can make you feel low and isolated. And the longer you’re unemployed, the more your confidence, self-esteem and ambition drops. Ignite a brand new initiative, which provides participants with a personalised plan designed to build up motivation and skills, so they can take the next steps towards employment and independent living.
If you’d like to take part in ignite, speak to your support worker (if you have one) or call the ignite team on 01202 410500. You’ll have an initial one-to-one session with a member of the ignite team to discuss your ambitions, expectations and areas of your life you’d like to develop.
We’ll work with you to agree a personalised plan that outlines a timetable of activities – delivered in an informal setting – to address the areas you’d like to develop. Throughout the programme, you’ll take part in workshops and group sessions to develop confidence, self-esteem and skills – and activities that could lead to volunteering and employment.
For more information about the ignite programme click here or call 01202 410500 or come in to
21 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH1 3NS.

Ignite is a BCHA programme based in Bournemouth funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund.
