Our Learning and Work team is dedicated to helping people learn new skills and improve their chances of finding work.

People come to us via many different routes - some are referred by JobCentrePlus or probation services, others are from our own residential schemes.

Our customers represent a broad range of ages and backgrounds - and some are a little uncomfortable about the idea of coming along to learn. We always do what we can to help people relax and feel at home - spending time getting to know our customers so we can deliver learning in the best way for them, building their self-confidence and improving their social interaction skills with others.

We are very proud of our excellent tutors who really understand the issues that people face, in terms of barriers to learning. We have a caring team who only want the very best for all who come to our centre.

Our staff dedicate time to advising and guiding our customers around opportunities for work and learning. They have information at their fingertips, which can help people to move forward in their chosen direction.

We are working with our BCHA services to build a more cohesive offer to clients who are out of area. For our clients/staff in OXFORD please see the local FEET GUIDE for opportunities in your area. Please call if you can't find what you're looking for.

If you're interested and would like to find out more, you're welcome to pop in to our Bournemouth learning centre or give our Reception a call on: 01202 41500
