Management, Leadership & Human Resources

Within Human Resources we recognise the importance of Managers when dealing with employee relation issues. We also understand that managers may not always have received training on just what is involved in becoming a manager. Therefore there are a number of workshops which we run in order to equip both new and existing manages with the tools and knowledge they will require:

Ø      Dignity at Work
Ø      Discipline & Grievance
Ø      Finance for Managers
Ø      Lunch ‘n’ Learn
Ø      Managing for the First Time

Ø      Supervision & Time Management
Ø      Train the Trainer
Ø      Well Being and Absence Management

We are also happy to arrange and deliver bespoke training on HR policies and procedures to Managers should this be requested.

Train to Gain / Skills Pledge

By signing the Skills Pledge BCHA have committed to actively encourage and support our employees to gain the skills and qualifications that will support their future employability and meet the needs of our business. This means that we will offer training to ensure that all employees have a recognised qualification at NVQ level 2 or above (equivalent to 5 GCSE).
