People volunteer for us for all sorts of reasons. Every one is passionate about helping others find a way forward.

Some of our volunteers are looking to change their career and want to gain some experience for their CV. Some have particular hobbies or skills that they wish to share with people. Some are retired professionals, such as teachers, who can really help us with delivering our learning workshops. Others give their time to fundraise for us.

Volunteering benefits individuals and our business.  It creates opportunities for people to unlock their skills and potential and, at the same time, provides a truly valuable contribution to our business by enabling our teams to increase the scope of their work and to develop the services they provide.

Whatever your interest or motivation to volunteer, please get in touch to find out what you can do to help. Click here to browse our current opportunities. Or click here for an overview of our schemes where volunteers are needed.

WINTER WATCH

We are also seeking volunteers to help us run BCHA's winter watch service, which provides extra beds and support for people rough sleeping over the cold winter months - click here for more information.
