Accountability is vital. Our organisational structure includes a board of trustees who a keep a close eye on our services and values.

We have 14 board members, who are are volunteers and are passionate about the work we do. Their experience helps them make decisions about the policy and direction of the organisation.

Our membership policy

If you have an interest in BCHA's work, you can become a shareholding member and will be entitled to vote at our AGM.  Becoming a shareholder costs £1.

Membership is open to individuals aged 18 years or over, including BCHA residents, as well as organisations.   We particularly seek to encourage applications from minority groups.

Applications for shareholding membership or membership of the Board may be made in writing. Further information or copies of the Membership Policy, Board Recruitment Policy and the BCHA Rules are available from the Company Secretary
