Ignite - Start Believing, Start Living, Start Working

BCHA are pleased to announce that our Ignite project has won the 2011 National Housing Federation's South West What We Are Proud of Award for Best Partnership Working.

The Ignite project was also runner up in the overall South West What We Are Proud of Award.

BCHA’s Ignite programme looks at how tenants can find greater self-belief, break free from life inhibiting behaviour and thoughts, get off benefits, get back into work and live life. People who are stuck in deep patterns of life limiting behaviours and thoughts are helped to confront these and look at life and how it could be without them. BCHA is assisting people to ignite the life they have and overcome obstacles. It is a radically different approach to getting people back to work and tenants and the wider community who have been long-term unemployed are becoming dynamic achievers and subsequent role models.
