SURF hold regular events throughout the year. Look out for what's happening - and come along!

SURF Summer event 2009

Tuesday 4 August, 12-4pm at Bournemouth Athletic Ground, King's Park, Boscombe.

Due to the success of the past two years, the summer event is back again.

There will be activities for people of all ages to enjoy, including the opportunity to soak representatives of BCHA and SURF in the dunk tank. Visitors can also try out their skills on an inflatable ‘rodeo bull', or if they’re feeling sporty, take part in 5-a-side football. For children – and the young at heart – there will be face painting, egg and spoon races and other games – plus music and a raffle, with prizes generously donated by local businesses. A buffet will also be provided to ensure everybody has enough energy for all the fun activities.

It's free entry and there are mini buses running every half hour from Bournemouth train station between 11.45am - 1.15pm.

SURF Summer Event 2008

Tuesday 29 July, 12-4pm at Bournemouth Athletic Ground, King's Park, Boscombe.

Our annual summer event includes lots of fun activities for people of all ages to enjoy - including dunk tank, life-size table football, DJ workshops, raffle, music and food. It's free entry and there's a shuttle bus from St Swithun's House. Help us celebrate our 5th birthday - and BCHA's 40th!

SURF Summer Event 2007

SURF's summer event 2007 was held at the Anglo Swiss Hotel in Bournemouth. The theme for the day was 'Getting involved'.

The event was very well attended with lots of opportunities to get involved, information stands and speakers. There was even the Mears balloon tree, which was a big hit with the children. The SURF committee extend thanks to the speakers, everyone who came along on the day, all those who set up stands and everyone who assisted with organising the event.
