SURF has had lots of successes since the first meeting in 2003. Here is just a summary.

• Regular SURF committee meetings - including requesting attendance of BCHA staff.
• Sitting on interview panels for new BCHA staff.
• Organising social events (eg annual Christmas and summer parties).
• Setting up 5-a-side football teams - runner-up in Southampton Homelessness Partnership tournament.
• Nominated for Nationwide Community and Heritage Award 2008.
• Attending Bournemouth Housing Forum.
• Sitting on BCHA committees, sitting on BCHA board and attending BCHA board awaydays.
• Training (eg first aid,
• Visiting BCHA schemes and providing feedback.
• Conducting mystery shopping.
• Acquiring SURF's own office in Boscombe.
• Commenting on BCHA policies (eg bad debt, anti-social behaviour and others).
• Promoting SURF with quarterly rent statements.
• Organised service user photo competition for BCHA / Mears calendar.
