The Wheelie Great Bike Store (WGBS) is located in the heart of Lansdowne, is an initiative of local social care and support provider BCHA. WGBS opened in June 2011 offering people the chance to buy reconditioned, serviced bikes at affordable prices. It is also an outlet for people to purchase new bikes and products for the growing skate and BMX scene in Bournemouth, including skateboards, longboards and urban clothing.

WGBS are now stocking JD Bugs Pro Series Scooters - an ideal product for kids of all ages! A wide range of accessories will also be available at the store, so people can personalise their scooters.

The WGBS is a great addition to Bournemouth, reducing landfill, encouraging cycling for a healthier lifestyle and providing training, jobs and volunteer roles to complement Government unemployment initiatives. WGBS accept donations of used bikes are aim is to fix recycle bikes for others to use in the local community. That cobwebbed old Raleigh of yours can be fixed and will become an affordable bike for a new generation of cyclists. Unfortunately we are not able to accept corroded or weathered bikes.
