I can't log in to the recruitment website, what do I do?

You will need to register your details first, an email link will then be sent to you to validate your account. Once you have followed these steps, you should then be able to log in and apply.

I want to apply for two seperate jobs with BCHA, do I have to complete two seperate forms?

No. However, if you are applying for very different roles, then you may wish to tailor your application to the specific job that you are applying for.  

I have missed the closing date, can I still apply?

No, if the closing date has passed we are unable to accept any further applications. However, we update our jobs page daily so please keep checking our website to view our latest vacancies. You have asked me to provide my passport as proof that I am eligible to work in the UK, but it has expired - does this matter?

We are able to accept an expired passport as proof of eligibility to work in the UK, so long as it is either a British Passport, or shows indefinite leave to remain.

I don't have a passport, what can I provide as proof of eligibility to work instead?

Instead of a passport, you can supply a full British Birth Certificate (this must be your long birth certificate which includes the name of at least one parent), and an official document issued by a previous employer or government agency which contains your permanent National Insurance Number and your name.

Why do I need to provide copies of qualification certificates?

To ensure that increments are awarded in accordance with the role's salary scale.

I have lost the certificates for my qualifications, can I still apply?

If you have lost any key documents, please apply to obtain a verified copy from the issuing body or organisation and supply these to us as soon as possible. We will need to see these before an offer of employment can be made.
