Meet the Customer Scrutiny Panel
The Customer Scrutiny Panel works on behalf of all residents and customers responsible for reviewing BCHA services and monitoring performances, so that they can make recommendations for improvement.
The panel reviews feedback that we receive from customer surveys and complaints, and they monitor our performance, to make sure all residents receive the highest possible standards of service.
The panel is now looking for new members. Being a member of the panel is a real opportunity for our customers to influence how we work at BCHA. It is a varied and challenging role, but it enables you to have a big impact and help us to continually improve the services we deliver.
If you want to play a clear role in improving services for all BCHA customers, have a broad range of skills, and have some spare time to commit every month, then the Customer Scrutiny Panel could be for you.
As a representative for BCHA customers, this role is vital in ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service they are getting from BCHA. It is not only incredibly rewarding but there is also a very positive social aspect for the group members.
Where members of the panel feel an area of BCHA is underperforming, they carry out an investigation to find out the strengths and weaknesses of that area. Then they make recommendations for improvement directly to our Board. The Customer Scrutiny Panel has been involved in the following scrutiny reviews:
- BCHA Complaints process
- Anti-social behaviour
- Value for money of the Grounds Maintenance service
- Voids and re-lets
Being a part of our Customer Scrutiny Panel will give you some really useful experience and skills that are easily transferable to non-housing situations.
The skills and knowledge that you build up will help you develop as a person, and will be something you can add to your CV.
