Paying your rent
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to pay your rent, so take a look at all the different ways below and just choose the way which suits you best.
Click here to visit the allpay website where you can pay your rent. The first time you visit you will need to set up an account, but when you’ve done this once, it will only take you a few minutes each time.
If you have a smart phone, you can download the allpay app, and pay your rent using this. To find out more about this, and to download it, click here.
By Direct Debit
A Direct Debit allows you to make regular payments from your bank account to another person or organisation. It is really easy to set up, and once you have set it up, you do not have to worry about doing anything else – your rent will automatically be paid to BCHA each week, fortnight or month – whatever timeframe you have chosen. We can even alter payments when your rent goes up or down.
Please note that your bank will only be able to pay us your rent if you have enough money in your bank account. If there isn’t enough money in your account, then your bank will cancel the Direct Debit and you will be charged a fee.
To set up a Direct Debit to BCHA, download this form, print it off, fill in all of your details and post it to: Housing, BCHA, St Swithuns House, 21 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, BH1 3NS.
Alternatively, call a member of the Income Recovery and Financial Inclusion Team who will be able to help you set up a Direct Debit.
Over the phone
Just call our Customer Services Team with your debit card details. Call: 01202 410500 Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, where a member of our Customer Services Team will be available to take your payment.
Once you have paid, you will be given a reference number as proof of payment. You can also request a receipt which we can email or post to you.
If you would like to pay your rent over the phone outside of BCHA’s working hours, then call allpay who are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Call: 0844 557 8321.
If you have an allpay card then you can go to any shop or Post Office that accept payments and pay your rent and service charge using cash – look out for the PayPoint logo.
Make your cheque payable to BCHA and put your rent account number (if you have it) and your name and address on the back of the cheque.
Post it to: BCHA, St Swithuns House, 21 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth. BH1 3NS.
Cheques must clear so the money goes into our account on a Monday
By standing order
We would prefer you to pay your rent by Direct Debit or allpay, but if you would like to set up a standing order payment, please contact the Income Recovery and Financial Inclusion Team who will provide you with everything you need to do this.
