Bchangemakers campaign launched

BCHA has launched its 50th anniversary ‘Bchangemakers’ campaign, which will tell 50 stories of remarkable change to highlight just some of the positive outcomes experienced by its customers and encourage donations to help continue its work.

2018 marks fifty years since BCHA – which provides practical solutions to homelessness, unemployment, social exclusion and the need for more housing – was formed in Bournemouth to address Britain’s housing crisis, so to mark the occasion, they are bringing together local communities, partners and sponsors in their new ‘Bchangemakers’ campaign.

The campaign will tell 50 stories about “changemakers” across our communities, celebrate the fantastic work of our people and partners, and equip more people to find a way to make a difference – through donations, sponsorship and volunteering.

New volunteer at Unity House

We would like to introduce Linda, who applied to be a volunteer at Unity House in Chippenham recently.

Linda is an all-rounder volunteer. She knits, she is arty, she is happy to clean, but most of all Linda is prepared to sit with our residents, have a cuppa and chat. She is a very welcome addition to Unity House!

HR team donations

Great effort from our HR team, who as part of the run-up to Christmas, ran a `12 Working Days to Christmas` calendar, bringing in food on each of the 12 days. The food is being delivered to the Bournemouth Food Bank.
