ALABARÉ is pleased to announce that it is partnering with Salisbury Trust for the Homeless (STFH) on 31 March 2026, strengthening support for people experiencing homelessness in Salisbury.
For more than 30 years, STFH has been a vital part of Salisbury’s local response to homelessness, working closely with organisations including BCHA. This partnership builds on that legacy by combining STFH’s deep community roots with ALABARÉ’s regional expertise.
Importantly, STFH will retain its Board of Trustees, ensuring continuity of leadership and preserving the charity’s long-standing identity and mission.
Andrew Lord, CEO of ALABARÉ, said: “We are delighted to welcome Salisbury Trust for the Homeless to ALABARÉ. This partnership reinforces our commitment to breaking the cycle of homelessness across the South West and Wales, while deepening our connection to our home city of Salisbury. By working together, we can offer more people the holistic, life-changing support they need to rebuild their lives.”
Maureen Pardy, Chair of Salisbury Trust for the Homeless added: “We are proud of our long history supporting people experiencing homelessness in Salisbury. Joining with ALABARÉ strengthens our mission and ensures we can continue delivering the highest level of compassion and care. Keeping our Board of Trustees allows us to maintain our local roots while benefiting from ALABARÉ’s experience and scale.”
Lorraine Mealings, CEO of BCHA said:
“After 18 years under the support of BCHA, STFH is now moving across to a more local parent organisation, which is an exciting and positive next step in their journey. We wish them continued success.”
The partnership demonstrates how charities can collaborate to meet rising demand and deliver the best possible support to vulnerable people.
