As part of BCHA's Strategic Plan 2024-2029, we have started an exciting project to identify a new name for BCHA.
Why are we doing this?
Our current name can create misunderstandings about:
-
Where we operate.
-
Whether we are a faith-based organisation.
-
The scale of our work and influence.
-
The breadth of services we provide to customers and communities.
Our new name will celebrate the diversity of our offers, unite our communities and recognise we are much more than housing – we are support, we are lifestyle and we are community. We anticipate the new name and imagery to be in use from Spring 2027.
BCHA would not be the organisation it is today without our customers, our colleagues and our partners. In the coming months, we will be engaging with those groups to ensure everyone has a chance to help shape the new look and new name.
What will not be changing?:
-
Your rent and service charge payments.
-
What BCHA does and provides across the region.
-
Our commitment to our vision: that everyone has a home and the opportunity to thrive.
If you are a BCHA customer and want to get involved, speak to your Housing Officer or call the Customer Services' team on 01202 410 500.
