BCHA are excited to announce that the University Retreat has now rebranded as the University Front Room.
The University Front Room is provided by BCHA alongside Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust and offers a safe, confidential, drop-in service. If you are a student over the age of 18 from Arts University Bournemouth, Health Sciences University or Bournemouth University, our team of mental health professionals and volunteers can provide guidance, advice or help you get additional support.
The University Front Room provides:
- Same confidential, welcoming drop-in space
- Same support if you’re struggling or feeling close to crisis
- Same friendly team of support workers, volunteers and peer specialists
- Same location and same way to access the service.
- No referral is needed, and you don’t have to be in immediate crisis to visit.
We'll be officially relaunching the University Front Room with a student event coming soon - watch this space!
