Agents of Change

Coming soon...Agents of Change

Agents of Change is a new programme developed specifically for 16 to 18 year olds struggling to find a way forward.

As such we have taken the time to consider what young people need to move forward effectively not just in the short term but in the long term.

We feel this means developing character as well as skills…

Fostering resilience and an understanding of self…

It also requires an honesty: we know ultimately only the individual can drive their own change. We can show people the door but they have to walk through it.

Agents of Change is a 17-week programme covering personal development, enrichment / social action and functional skills.

Participants will gain a level 1 NOCN qualification covering Personal Learning, Confidence, Stress management, Making Choices and Perusing Personal Goals, Exploring Occupations, Job Seeking and Personal Career Preparation.

Participants will also have the opportunity to improve literacy and numeracy with dedicated sessions led by field specific tutors.

The course is held at BCHA head office, St Swithuns House, 21 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, BH1 3NS.

For more information or to enrol on the programme contact Agents of Change staff on aoc@bcha.org.uk or call 01202 41500.
