BCHA is pleased to offer our brand new and exciting project called Bournemouth Digital.
Bournemouth Digital aims to provide the residents of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole an opportunity to upskill their online, digital and computer knowledge in community venues throughout the Bournemouth area.
Bournemouth Digital will deliver four, three hour sessions in small groups with additional personalised one to one support. Bournemouth Digital has been made possible by Power Up- an initiative by Good Things Foundation, with the financial support of J.P Morgan.
How can Bournemouth Digital help me?
Bournemouth Digital will support you in becoming more confident with basic computer skills including using the internet, creating email accounts, using platforms such as Zoom to communicate with friends and family, identifying useful websites to assist you in daily life and informing you around the topic of internet safety. Additionally, Bournemouth Digital will assist you with job searching, creating a CV and online applications.
You will gain the tools, skills and knowledge to make lasting positive changes. Our group sessions and one to one coaching will cover:
- Getting online
- Accessing online services
- Setting up emails and Zoom accounts
- Online job searching
- IT security
- Online money skills
What will be expected of me?
If you sign up to Bournemouth Digital then you will be expected to attend an induction meeting where you will learn more about Bournemouth Digital and complete the starter documentation.
