There is no set way of getting a place in one of our schemes. The criteria and referral process will depend on which scheme it is, and where it is located.

We work with Dorset County Council to provide accommodation and support for single homeless people within Dorset. This service is called Dorset Back on Track - for further information about this service contact your local authority’s Housing Advice/Options Team. Click here to find their details.
We provide a range of short stay accommodation in Bournemouth, providing support to help people regain control of their lives and move on to independent living again.
This accommodation is part of Bournemouth Council’s Supported Housing Pathway and anyone accessing these services must have a local connection to Bournemouth. All referrals to BCHA’s Bournemouth homelessness accommodation are managed by the Bournemouth Supporting People Hub, to enquire about making a referral:

In Plymouth we provide 46 units of accommodation for single homeless people at our award winning service, George House. You can stay at George House for a maximum of six months, during which time you will receive support and be able to access on-site training and development courses.
We also provide accommodation within the community, which customers from George House can access when they are ready to move on to more independent living.

We provide supported accomodation at Gabriel House for homeless people in Exeter.

We provide accommodation and support for 16 single homeless people at Unity House in Chippenham. This service also delivers accredited learning on site to both customers of Unity House, and individuals referred by agencies such as the Job Centre.

Our subsidiary, Winchester Churches Housing Association, also known as Keystone, provides temporary quality and affordable accommodation with some support in the Winchester area.

In Reading we’ve a project called Waylen Street, which provides accommodation, care and support to rough sleepers who have addiction problems. The project can accommodate eight people.
