Homelessness and work

Helping people overcome the barriers to work

It is widely recognised that homelessness proves a major barrier to individuals in accessing work. Being homeless can deskill someone, and make them feel isolated, it can destroy someone’s confidence and self-esteem.

That’s why all of our homelessness services offer support to help people improve their skills - providing access to training and learning courses, while helping people to rebuild their confidence and self-esteem. Our aim is to help people improve their employability, supporting people in to voluntary opportunities and paid employment.

How can BCHA help me?
