The Work Programme

Helping you get back in to work

Last year our Work Programme supported 120 individuals into work.

We run the Work Programme in conjunction with Working Links, Job Centre Plus and Bournemouth & Poole College.

The course is all about supporting people who have been unemployed for a while to get back in to sustainable employment.

How can the Work Programme help me?

We can support you to get back in to paid employment. We can help you to produce a CV, and help you to practice your interview skills – so that if a job is on offer, you’re in the best position to go for it.

We can help you with your job search as well – we have excellent links with local employers across a broad range of industry sectors – from retail and hospitality, to local council.

What will be expected of me?

You will be expected to engage with the Work Programme team - attending regular job search sessions, and face-to-face interviews. We expect you to approach the Work Programme with a positive attitude and open mind.

Who can sign up to the Work Programme?

Anyone aged between 18-65 who has been long-term unemployed is eligible for the Work Programme.

How do I sign up?

Referrals for our Work Programme, which runs in Bournemouth, can only be made by the Job Centre Plus. So if you’re interested in taking part in the Work Programme, speak to Bournemouth Job Centre Plus. Click here for their contact details.
