Providing you with the tools to look after your home
Working with residents we’ve developed a Repairs and Maintenance Handbook to provide you with advice on how to look after your home, and what to do if you have a problem or a repair which needs doing.
This handbook also provides you with advice about how to solve simple problems in your home, for example, what to do if your sink becomes blocked, how to deal with frozen or burst pipes and how to reset the trip switch should a fault develop within your electric system. There is also some great advice about how to reduce condensation and consequently, mould growth within your home.
Within the handbook there are also diagrams of the most common appliances and parts within our properties, to help make it as easy as possible for you to diagnose and report a repair that needs doing.
Take a look at the diagrams within the handbook to identify the parts you have within your home, and provide this information to New Leaf Repairs when you call to report your repair. We hope that by gaining more specific information about the repair, our operatives will be able to come along with the correct part and consequently fix your repair on their first visit.
