Supporting people to prevent them from becoming homeless in the first place is vital, and it is an important part of our work. We also work hard to keep people safe within their own homes, for example where they are at risk of harm from others.
We provide a number of community-based services throughout the South of England, supporting thousands of people each year. Our Floating Support services work with people to help them maintain and manage their tenancies – over the last year alone we have supported over 1400 people to avoid eviction and remain in their own homes.
We also help people who need that bit of support each week to remain independent in their homes. People like Graham, who after suffering horrific injuries from a bike crash, was unable to do the things he used to, and was warned that he would never live an independent life again. Watch Graham’s story to see just how much he has achieved with the right support.
