Corporate support

Because thriving businesses need thriving communities

There are many ways that businesses and organisations can support the work that we do - we would be happy to discuss these on an individual basis, as we know each organisation will want to support us in different ways. Just call our Fundraising Department on 01202 410587 or email fundraising@bcha.org.uk

Below are just some of the examples of how you and your organisation can help:

  • Choose BCHA as your charity partner
  • Become a friend to a BCHA scheme. By befriending one of our schemes, you will build a relationship with staff and know exactly what is needed by the residents in that scheme; it could be something small like a new pair of shoes to something larger to help the whole scheme
  • Hold events in support of BCHA, for example, BBQ’s, coffee morning, dress down or dress up days, or why not test everyone’s knowledge with a quiz night?
  • Ask staff to donate items for a hamper and then raffle the hamper to staff and customers
  • Sponsor and/or attend our events – not only will you be helping us and promoting your business, you get to have a good time as well
  • Volunteer with us, or donate your professional services. If there are any budding gardeners amongst you, maybe you could get a group together to makeover a garden at one of our schemes
  • Host a ‘Material Difference’ collection box in your organisation or building. This is somewhere people can donate all of their unwanted clothing, bags, shoes and belts
  • Identify places where our collection cans could go, for example, reception areas, shops or a restaurant counter
  • Promote our campaigns and events to clients, colleagues and friends
  • Set up a regular monthly donation, or give a one off donation to BCHA
